some do it for extra backup money in case they need it, but some also do it because they just want more money. I figure if someone has a lot of saved up money that is enough for their future and any unexpected incidents they shouldnt risk that money in investments, you might make extra money yes but you also have the chance of losing your hard earned money just like we see now with the stock market
