So what you need to do is break down your budget into three categories
Needs
Wants
Luxuries
First cover your absolute needs such as bills, basic food, transportation and so on.
Then if you have money left over you can go for your wants, movies, eating out, and other such low cost stuff.
Irrevocably comes luxuries. These are high cost items you can live without. If you really want a luxuries then you have to absolutely zero out your wants until you can come up with the money.
And don’t charge anything, zero out those credit cards and then place them away until you need them for an emergency only. If you can’t afford to pay cash then you don’t really need it.
